01 The short version
Arcade Chi Night is a single-player memory game. You don't create an account, you don't sign in, and you never hand us your name, address, or contact details to play.
Your levels, stars, XP, coins, streaks and settings live in your device's own storage. Uninstall the app and they're gone with it.
The only information that ever leaves your device is limited, non-identifying diagnostic data used to keep the game from crashing — described in section 06 — and anything you deliberately type into a support request yourself.
02 What we never collect
We do not ask for, gather, or store any of the following:
- Your name, postal address, or phone number
- Account credentials — there are no accounts
- Contacts, calendars, messages, or call history
- Precise or background location
- Health, fitness, or biometric records
- Payment card details
- Microphone audio
- Your photo library beyond the single image you choose to capture
We also do not build advertising profiles, do not run cross-app tracking, and do not sell or rent any information to data brokers.
03 What lives on your device
Gameplay data is written to the standard private storage area your operating system reserves for the app — no other app can read it, and it is not uploaded to us. This includes:
- Level completion, star ratings, and best scores
- XP, athlete rank, and Star Coin balance
- Daily streak counters and reward claim history
- Unlocked achievements and trophies
- Preferences such as sound, haptics, and reminder settings
You can wipe all of it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your system settings, or by deleting the app.
04 Camera & Chi Vision
Chi Vision is an optional bonus feature. If you choose to use it, the app asks permission to open your camera so you can snap a photo of your workout space and earn bonus coins.
- The photo is analysed entirely on your device
- It is never uploaded to us or to any third party
- It is not saved into your photo library by the app
- Only the resulting coin bonus is kept — the image itself is discarded
Declining the camera permission has no effect on the rest of the game. You can revoke it later in your system settings at any time.
05 Notifications
With your permission, the app schedules daily reminders so you don't lose your streak. Reminder scheduling happens locally on your device.
On Android, the app is also able to receive occasional push notifications about the game. Delivering a push message involves a device-level token issued by the platform's messaging service; that token identifies a device installation, not a person, and we do not link it to any personal identity.
Notifications are entirely optional and can be turned off in your system settings without affecting gameplay.
06 Diagnostics & analytics
The Android version of the app includes Google's Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics so we can see that the game is stable and understand which levels people get stuck on. What these tools report back is limited and non-identifying:
- Anonymous app-usage events, such as a level being started or finished
- Device model, operating system version, language, and coarse region
- App version and session length
- Crash reports, including the technical stack trace at the moment of failure
These reports are aggregated and are not used to identify you personally. We use them for one purpose only: fixing bugs and improving the game. They are never used for advertising.
Your platform's own privacy controls — such as limiting ad tracking or opting out of analytics sharing — apply here, and we honour them.
07 Support requests
If you contact us through the support form provided for this app, we receive whatever you type into it — typically a name, a reply address, and your message. We use that information solely to answer you.
Please don't include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in a support message. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your issue, and is not added to any marketing list.
08 Third-party services
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those platforms apply their own privacy policies to downloads, purchases, and any statistics they collect as store operators — we don't control that, and we receive only the anonymous, aggregated sales and crash summaries the stores make available to every developer.
Google Firebase is used for the diagnostic and messaging functions described above. No other advertising network, tracking SDK, or data broker is embedded in this app.
09 Children
Arcade Chi Night is rated for a general audience and contains no chat, no user-generated content, and no social features. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support message, ask us to delete it and we will remove it promptly.
10 Security
Game data never leaves the protected storage sandbox your operating system provides. Diagnostic data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard transport security.
No system is perfectly secure, but because we hold no accounts, no passwords, and no personal profiles, there is very little about you for anyone to obtain in the first place — and that is deliberate.
11 Your choices
- Camera — grant, decline, or revoke at any time in system settings
- Notifications — turn reminders and push messages off at any time
- Analytics — use your device's platform-level opt-out controls
- Deletion — clear the app's storage, or uninstall, to erase everything
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete information held about you. Since we hold no personal profile, such a request is generally satisfied by deleting the app — but if you have sent us a support message, you can ask us to erase that correspondence.
12 Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top of it changes with them. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing release notes.
Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13 Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request concerning your information, can be sent through the support page listed on the app's store page. We aim to reply to every message.
